
We Use The Freshest Milk Direct From Our Farmers
Trampoline prides itself on using the freshest milk and cream (rather than powdered like some ice cream companies) straight from our dairy in Gippslands, south eastern Victoria, one of the greenest and best dairy producing areas in Australia, and YES! the World.
While we don’t quite know the cows’ names, we do know the farmers who milk them because they supply us everyday. Our sister company, Burra Foods, has a dairy factory in Korumburra, Gippsland and use only the best, most fastidious farmers because they ship some of their products to the very fussy Japanese market.
We Churn It Fresh On Site Daily At Every Store
The Italian tradition of ‘artisan gelato’ (made on site) is the only way to deliver an exceptional product. We reckon the Italians do it pretty well (make gelato that is!) so while our appearance is modern and unashamedly Australian, we’ve adopted their tradition of making it fresh on site daily. It’s pretty hard to beat really.
Take a look out the back right now and you’ll probably catch one of us churning a fresh batch. The smoothest, creamiest gelato comes straight from the churn. If it has to be transported halfway across the world, it ain’t going to be smooth!
We Only Use All Natural Real Ingredients
All our gelato and sorbet is made from real ingredients – that’s why our banana isn’t yellow or our pistachio bright green. What’s more, we use only all natural ingredients – no strange sounding chemicals or artificial ingredients here!
Where possible we use Australian ingredients, however sometimes the best comes from overseas - our chocolate is Belgian, our pistachios are Sicilian and our hazelnuts are Italian. But the majority of our ingredients are from Australia - less food miles! Plus we are wholly Australian owned…and proud of it!
Trampoline gelato contains only 6-9% fat. By Australian law ice cream must contain a minimum 10% fat, with most premium ice creams sitting heavy (and we mean heavy!) at around 18%. Our sorbets are fat free, yipee!
And We Care!
About our staff, our customers, the environment and people who maybe aren’t as lucky as you and me. Unlike many ice cream stores, we give you your gelato in a paper cup with a wooden paddle made from a sustainable source. Our Sundae cups are also made from cornstarch so they biodegrade in a matter of minutes (well that's true if you put them under hot water but they take a few months if they end up in landfill). Our brochures and gift vouchers are printed on recycled paper too.
We work with select charities predominantly associated with kids and youth to support people that might need a little joy in their lives for whatever reason. We regularly take Trampoline gelato into the Royal Children’s Hospital to support Challenge and give kids with cancer a bit of a treat. We actively support our local communities too - schools, footy teams and a myriad of charities.
